Inventory management for manufacturing

Spare parts, components and tools under control, so production does not stop for a part that was on the wrong shelf.

Used by over 600 companies across Europe, including:

Nordiske Industriovner Siemens Energy Troll Elementer Stadt Ulm

In production a missing spare part costs more than the part itself. The machine stands still, people wait, and someone searches a spare parts store nobody has counted in a year. At the same time components need tracing by batch or serial number, and tools and measuring equipment need checking at fixed intervals.

Lagerdrift keeps stock per location in real time, alerts you when critical parts approach minimum and prepares the purchase proposal for you. Batches, serial numbers, expiry dates and bills of materials are built in, and an open API with webhooks connects the warehouse to the systems you already run.

Sound familiar?

Production stop for a spare part

The part should have been in stock. It takes an hour to find out it is not, and two days to get a new one.

Stock nobody trusts

The numbers in the system and the numbers on the shelf are not the same, so people order just in case.

Inspections on sticky notes

Calibration and periodic checks of tools and measuring equipment live in one person's head.

A stocktake that eats the weekend

Manual counting with printouts, typing errors and differences nobody has time to explain.

How Lagerdrift solves it

Minimum stock and purchase proposals

Set minimum and maximum per spare part and location. On a breach you get an alert, and the item goes into the purchase proposal automatically with supplier and price.

Batches, serial numbers and expiry dates

Choose tracking per item: quantity, serial number, batch or condition. Batches can carry expiry dates and documents, and every movement is logged.

Bills of materials

Define assembled items with components and quantities. Withdraw the whole bill of materials in one operation, or assemble it in stock.

Recurring tasks on tools and equipment

Put an inspection, calibration or maintenance as a task on the tool, with a responsible person, due date and recurrence. Daily reminder by email or push, and documents stored on the task.

Change log and history

Every withdrawal, move and edit sits in the log with user and time. Stock history, order history and purchase prices export to Excel in one click.

Open API and webhooks

Connect Lagerdrift to ERP or production planning. Import from CSV and Excel, export to Excel, CSV, JSON and XML, and webhooks that notify your systems on movements.

No installation, no consultants. You set up the first warehouse yourself, and we help for free whenever you want.

1

Import the items

Spare parts, components and tools from Excel or CSV, with supplier and purchase price. Set minimum and maximum where it is critical.

2

Label the shelves and parts

Print labels from Lagerdrift, or use the manufacturer's barcodes. Choose batch or serial tracking where it is needed.

3

Connect the rest

Give operators the mobile app or an Android handheld scanner, and connect API or webhooks to ERP when you are ready.

Common questions

Can Lagerdrift track spare parts by serial number or batch?
Yes. Per item you choose whether it is counted in quantities, tracked by serial number, by batch or by condition. Batches can carry expiry dates, and stock in, stock out and moves happen per batch or serial number.
Does Lagerdrift have maintenance planning?
Lagerdrift has tasks that can be linked to a tool, an item or a key, with a responsible person, due date and recurrence in days, weeks, months or years. That is used for inspections, calibration and maintenance. It is not a separate maintenance system with machine cards and fault codes.
Can we connect Lagerdrift to our ERP?
Yes, through an open REST API with documentation and API keys per company, and webhooks that notify your systems on movements and changes. Import from CSV and Excel and export to Excel, CSV, JSON and XML are built in.
How does stocktaking work?
Per location, with the scanner in the mobile app or on a handheld. The count can be done blind without today's stock showing, and you get a report per location with differences once the count is closed.
Can we block part of the warehouse?
Yes. A location can be set as blocked stock with a reason, and permission groups control who sees and can use what.
